Virginia A. Velan passed away peacefully at the age of 93. She and her husband the George were married for 60 years. Formerly of Riverside, IL, she has resided at Church Creek in Arlington Heights, for the last 6 years. She was preceded in death by her husband George L., her son George M.(Judy), her parents Eugene and Helen Gridley and her siblings Gene (Kay) Gridley, Eileen Richer, Helen Gridley and Mary Catherine Gridley.
Visitation Friday 9:30 AM until Mass 10:30 AM at St. Raymond de Penafort Church, Elmhurst Rd (Rt83) and Lincoln St., Mt. Prospect.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the Doctors, caregivers, nurses and therapists at Church Creek for the kind and loving care they gave to Virginia.
